Before Staging Day
-
Ensure no one is present during staging and de-staging.
-
Keep the driveway clear for staging, de-staging, and showings.
-
Complete all consultation recommendations and have the home cleaned and ready for staging.
Staged Items Care
-
Bedding: Remove staging bedding for sleeping and replace it for showings. (Tip: take photos to help recreate the setup.)
-
Towels: Avoid using staging towels, as they will no longer appear fresh for photos and showings.
Home Presentation Tips
-
Declutter: Put away garbage cans, bath mats, and personal hygiene items for photos and showings.
-
Wires: Neatly organize and secure cords with rubber bands or tape.
-
Natural Light: Open blinds and curtains to maximize lighting.
-
Lighting: Turn on all lamps and lights for photos and showings.
-
Outdoor Areas: Maintain curb appeal by cutting the grass and tidying outdoor spaces.
-
Freshness: Ensure the home smells clean and inviting. Avoid cooking strong-smelling foods or using overpowering scents.
Staging Items
-
If any staging items are damaged or broken, notify Charmed Concepts immediately. Compensation for damaged items will be at Charmed Concepts’ discretion.
